The Demand & Conversion Analyst II advocates for the needs of our customers and serves as a go-to person for insights related to digital traffic and merchandising performance, leveraging data to provide insights improve the eCommerce funnel from the start of the shopping experience to convert with purchase. Analyst II will identify opportunities to improve site and app sales, traffic, conversion, click-rate and other digital metrics based on a deep understanding of our business goals, our online feature and functionalities, the target customer, industry best practices, and the competitive landscape. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, eCommerce Demand & Conversion Strategy and will work closely with partners on Data Capture, Merchandising, Marketing, Strategic Analytics, Innovation, Digital Product Manager and Optimization teams.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Analyze online customer behavior signals using raw data to provide insights and recommendations for the business to improve traffic and conversion metrics.
  • Deep understanding of the digital experience and the data implementation surrounding all features, functions, components, pages and more for our digital platforms.
  • Lead in the creation and implementation of new reporting with intuitive data tables and visualizations using tools such as Adobe Analytics & Quantum Metrics.
  • Partner and train various teams and stakeholders on how to utilize pre-built reporting for their business needs and incentivize usage of data.
  • Lead in the documentation of data implementation, data disruptions and reporting events & metrics to ensure data integrity.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on merchandising aspects of the business including Discovery Tools, Events, Categories & Brands, Recommendations and more in partnership with Merchandising, Innovation, Product teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Deliver actionable digital insights and recommendations for traffic and conversion improvement on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Assist the Strategic & Digital Analytics teams with complex analytical projects and tie guest’s digital interaction with various offline data signals.
  • Able to independently analyze data, generate impactful insights, present to diverse audiences at varying levels, and convey complex findings in a clear and meaningful way.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for other teams in the organization to drive their adoption & usage of digital data in their decision making.
  • Work in a cross-functional capacity to enhance the customer experience, product assortment and Marketing strategies.
  • Share recommendations based off data driven insights with the team to partner with Digital Optimization & Product teams that lead to development of A|B testing opportunities.
  • Challenge the status quo and identify new process solutions to better streamline the team’s needs.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with an emphasis in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Merchandising, Marketing (with a quantitative focus), or related analytical degree or experience.
  • 4 years of relevant analytics experience with specialization in digital analytics.
  • Experience working with digital and eCommerce data within Retail, CPG, Travel & Hospitality, Financial or related industries.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, MS Excel/PowerPoint, and/or Tableau preferred
  • Capable of managing multiple project schedules and deadlines that run simultaneously.
  • Ability to work cross functionally to be a thought partner and drive the use of digital data among the organization.
  • Must be able to see the “big picture” and be able to relate findings across various analyses.
  • Strong sense of curiosity and storytelling.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Energetic and self-motivated - must be extremely organized and detail oriented with an ability to make proactive recommendations.
